Rumours now about throwing Dirk Kuyt in on the Suarez deal with Liverpool.

Liverpool has set his sights on Luis Suarez, but the asking price of Ajax is too high. The hoofdstedelingen require no less than thirty million euro for the 24-year-old Uruguay 's, who Thursday during the home game was scheduled with NAC in the KNVB bekertoernooi the last of his seven-year sentence, and duels suspension that is still unacceptable for the team of manager Kenny Dalglish.

Liverpool would therefore be a player in the deal and as Ryan Babel to 1899 Hoffenheim verkast, would Dirk Kuyt are offered at Ajax. Question is whether the former Feyenoord player now is waiting for a move to Amsterdam.

Update 16: 00 pm: There popped up this morning suddenly the message to Dirk Kuyt by Liverpool is inserted into the negotiations with Ajax on Luis Suarez. This went on the internet lead a life of its own and so called Ajaxlife. en with Sport-Taming. The message about Kuyt is dismissed as 'onzin '.

The rumours of Kuyt are "onzin" apparently so that's good news

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

Onzin. Thats a ace word.

Yeah, it was a very strange link given the hatred between Feyenoord and Ajax.

It means "nonsense" so yes, it's good news if you want Deadly to stay (and, like you, I'd prefer that).

This was probably only paper talk all along.

Apparently the news wasn't taken very well on the Ajax forums.
It mentioned Kuyt getting stoned, which probably wouldn't be half as good as it sounds for Dirk

I started to write "you can speak good Dutch" in my rudimentary Dutch, then realised the first two words would (I think) be "je kunt".

Ajax stand firm over Suarez

Ajax have decided not to report Liverpool to Fifa over their pursuit of Luis Suarez following reports in Holland they were unhappy with the Reds' conduct.

Liverpool director of football strategy Damien Comolli was in Amsterdam on Monday to try and broker a deal.

But the move remains at an impasse with Liverpool's offer reported to be €15milion, half of what Ajax would ideally want.

Any chance of Ryan Babel being included in the deal appear to have fallen by the wayside with confirmation that he is set to tie up a deal with Hoffenheim.

Ajax appeared less than amused with Liverpool's approach with claims they have already approached Suarez's agent Pere Guardiola, brother of Barcelona coach Pep, before being given permission.

But reports the Dutch club are thinking of reporting Liverpool are wide of the mark after a spokesman told Sky Sports News: "We are not considering a complaint towards Uefa or Fifa."

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

"Was in Amsterdam on Monday". No longer there then?

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

Didn't Spurs drop their complaint against us when we agreed the transfer fee for Robbie Keane?

Yeah, I think the Spurs board said we added on a couple of million so they wouldn't complain to the FA.

Of course they are not going to. The only quotes that have emanated from our camp in this saga has been from Comolli indicating "our interest" in Suarez.

No mention of differences in valuation, impatience at the progress of talks, reporting the other party to FIFA/UEFA, setting of deadlines, all of which have come out in the press, from the Ajax camp. The headlines have been clearly generated by Ajax to drive the price up as much as possible to cover their debts.

That is how accurate this thread is now that Babel is gone
