Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

I think we'll get him, after what happened to the thread of Liverpool sold to NESV and Bye-bye Roy, just keep on posting.

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

What gets your back up these days Rebel ?

nothing really, i'm chilled now that we've got rid of Hodgson

As far as football is concerned the year is just 6 months of nothingness but seeing Kenny with his arms up celebrating a goal with a big grin makes me think all will be right in the end.

I couldn't give a flying fuck about our transfer targets or the saga's contained therein, the thread should be locked and we should just be talk about something else.

The youth seem exciting, give em some games!

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

Alright then.

Today's 7 billion permutations (Comolli, Ajax, De Boer's fake tan and far too tight white shirt, Babel, Kenny, Barrett, that impersonating cunt Rory Smith, everything on Twitter, SSN, Oncy's melodrama, etc etc) have been entered, computed, analysed and spat this out at me (after some whirring noises and smoke)...

Take care of the instrument Ryan. Don't over exert it.

We would be helpless without it.

I know! Could NOT care less. Couldn't care less!! If you could care less, you actually care a little. GAHHHHH

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

Same old story...always a few million short. Sell Babel, sell Jova, fuck Adam and pay the money for Suarez!

I'm telling you it's all a distraction! Benzama is in the bag!

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

Looking at the title of this thread, it is now half true! Babel has left (or has he not?)....

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

Talksport reckon the deal is off but what do they know?

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

Let's hope that we flog Jova to Wolfsburg for the reputed £6M which would be good business on our part.

Having recouped £12M from deadwood would be sensational.

Let's get our striker deal done whoever it is.

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

If we sell Jova for 6m I might be a teeny weeny bit surprised.

And Van Claren would be forgiven for all past sins... although arguably the whole Van Claren episode has gone a long way towards doing that anyway.

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

Probably bullshit but here goes:

"Reports from Holland suggest Ajax are keen to have Dirk Kuyt included in any deal with Liverpool for Luis Suarez."

Source: some shitty site.

Anyway, would it be worth letting go of Kuyt?

Considering his age I'd go for it.

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

I wouldn't. We're already short on options, Suarez is supposed to provide more numbers upfront.

Depends on their valuation of Dirk. He's one of my favorite players though and I'd be reluctant to let him go now he's starting to get into a bit of form under Kenny. But as you say, it's probably bullshit anyway.

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

Kuyt & Babel = Suarez (and we'd even be prepared to throw in Lucas)

Indeed. Unless Kuyt was valued quite high - like 10M - I wouldn't bother.

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

To be frank, Kuyt is on really big money and the performance in this season and a better part of last season does not justify that kind of wage to be paid out.

To be fair Roy's tactics didn't suit him at all. He's already been much better in the last couple of games.

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

Kuyt is a decent option, but I think the way forward is with more speed and ability to take on players than Dirk is providing...

Yeah I don't think anyone is disputing this but would it be feasible to let him go now? I don't think so.

Considering his *touch*, I'd go for it. Doubt whether Dirk would though.

Re: Suarez paves the way for Anfield switch as Babel nears the exit door

Hmm, might be a good time to move Kuyt on, he is getting older.

Lets replace him with Hazard. young, Quick and Tricky!
