Studge has always had that sullky look, even when playing alongside Luis and Sterling.

The big issue is that he has always been indulged and expected to to main striker who doesnt get subbed.........Klopp is ahppy to hook anyone off


He and the likes of hendo/ milner will have to get use to this or leave
 
No one cares when he's scoring. He needs competition, and to be honest I'm not sure if I rate him the same as a lone striker compared to when he's playing with say Origi
 
The Klopp story about him refusing to sign a striker because his goal celebration was about him rather than the team must have struck a chord with Sturridge. He was poor last night and didn't work hard enough. Then to show that reaction coming off is doing him no favours.

He's a top quality player and likely playing within himself, which is understandable given all the injuries. However, he may seal his own fate if he doesn't pick things up.
 
He shouldn't have any issues sitting on the bench if his performances don't warrant a start. Even God sat on that bench .
 
He has always had that face on him when coming off though, hasn't he? If he was really this guy who'd rather sit on his arse than play he should be delighted to get called off. I'm glad he doesn't want to come off. It must seem a bit of a slap round the chops to him that we're singing Origi's name already, and I'm yet to hear Sturridge's name ring out from our supporters.
 
Considering how many Clubs he's gone through before he made his name with us, he has to think twice about going somewhere and being benched again.

Anyhow, I think youse are all over analysing drama queens.
 
Yeah, it was poor from him but that is something that can happen from time to time.
Hopefully it wont happen again though.

Rodgers always used to sub Studge off. Which tended to result in the same pouty face. I don't think he ever dared subbing Suarez off.
