Sturridge - The New Brando?

Yeah, the Studge is one of the good guys for definite. Playing-wise, if - IF - we can stabilise his fitness (we did it before, so hopefully we can repeat that) and get even just a majority of games, not necessarily every one, out of him, that may be the single most important step we can take towards top 4 for the rest of the season. He's that good.

For me he's one of the best strikers in the game, criminally underrated by Liverpool fans and I hope he can view us into the Champions League and prove himself on the highest stage.

He's doing a lot of "viewing" at the moment.

I don't think anyone underrates him, just overrate his ability to be fit.

I still think to get the best from him we need to be very selective about when he is played. More than once a week clearly puts him at risk - save him for the league, or only home games. We have cover if needed - once he is fit lets help him find his rhythm and pander to his need for additional recovery.

There's something about Sturridge that irritates the shite out of me, he seems like he'd get annoying really quick if you had to be around him for long.
That being said, I have loads of respect for him as a player, and he does seem to have his head screwed on.

He seems to have a good personality about him, whenever I've seen his vids away from the game.
Having said that, he's always been a bit of a lazy sod with his tracking back and pressing, even in that great season (stark contrast to Suarez), so hopefully he knuckles down, trust Klopp and gets on with working hard with the rest of the side.
If he doesn't he'll be finished at Liverpool.
