I'm confused as to why Klopp favours Origi over Sturridge. I think many people would argue that Origi isn't very good. Why would he do this when Sturridge has nearly 1 in 2 this season.
Firmino: 11 Premiership goals in 34 starts 11 Premiership goals all season! I think that's the lowest goal return for our main striker in Premier League history. Dismal, really.
It's a shame, I'd love him to be fit, but it is a fact that he has been unavailable for more games than he has been available throughout his Liverpool career. He has lost pace, and I'd like to reinvest what will probably be a goodly amount of money.
I'm not sure the club would get that much money for Sturridge, as the other clubs are all well aware that he is made of glass and signing him would be a massive risk.
If we did sell him, I would be haunted by the fear that he would play a full season for his new club and score 30 goals.
In my opinion Origi will never amount to much and it is unclear if Ings will ever be a force again, so Sturridge is the only viable striker we have on our books at the moment.
Sturridge is the better striker, but can't lead the line in a 433 and has the worst work rate out of any of our strikers. Klopp wants a worker up front and origi works harder than sturridge. That my theory on it anyway.
Sturridge has upped his social media game since he's gotten back to his playing ways. Not since Sakho regularly updating pictures of random 'beautiful Scouse dogs' has there been a Liverpool player more worthy of staying for at least cult reasons.
I remember another one from a couple of weeks ago.
It was that nearly everyone in the top 10 had a better defensive record than us, but it turned out we had the 5th best record or something.

Its a shame it was reported a few days ago that West Ham wont follow up their interest in him.
That was a good bet regarding a decent fee and a decent contract.
"The former Manchester City and Chelsea player is one of Liverpool's biggest earners on £150,000 a week, on a contract that lasts until the end of June 2019."
"Since joining Liverpool from Chelsea in January 2013, it has been reported that Sturridge has missed a staggering 95 matches because of injury."
