There is no comparison. In my opinion, as you point out. I have others. You wouldn't like to hear them.
Not when you frequently goad him, including in your signature. Having people on ignore is silly, when you know, you could just ignore them, with your brain. You quite clearly aren't actually ignoring him, even with the assistance of technology.
What absolute bollocks. I certainly don't 'frequently goad him' - what an incredible bit of bias from you. Honestly, Fark, that's downright outrageous. I finally put the fact that I ignore him in my signature because I'm sick of being pm'd about his continuing attempts to abuse me as if he doesn't know I'm not reading his nasty little gratuitous snipes. There's only one person trying to start arguments between us and that's him. I'm sick to death with it and frankly the mods should have shut him up ages ago.
I'm simply saying that if you ignore him, in addition to "ignoring" him, it might work better.
And who the fuck is sending you PMs saying that he's writing about you, that's the saddest thing I've ever heard.

It's been going on and on and on. Insult after insult. So I've ignored him - that's not goading, that's not answering back, that's not being a pest. It's probably been left in the hope I get pissed off and stop posting, so the usual stupid 'Wow, he's gone off twice in eight fucking years- how outrageous"' line can get another go (where's Vlad, by the way - anyone giving him grief for being tired of all this nonsense?). It's sick - one way abuse, non-stop. No doubt this will prompt more, with impunity as usual.

Yea, Ryan likes pissing you off, but you encourage him by your reaction to it. If you actually ignored him, as opposed to clicking a button, he'd have exhausted himself shadow boxing months ago.
I don't have the time, energy, or inclination to dredge up posts where you obliquely reference him, but its not as though your ignoring of him has meant that you don't speak of him or argue with him by proxy/intimation. If your intent is to ignore him, putting him on your signature is a strange way to go about it. He on the other hand is instead deliberately and directly winding you up, and I'm aware of that. I am not going to defend selective cuntish behavior on a message board, because I think it's a victimless crime. I recall times where there has been some intimation or argument by proxy on your part, while ignoring him, in response to comments you technically cannot read. Turns out some of this seems to be prompted by sad people/wind ups sending you PMs of what he said. You can ignore those as well. It's just strange to call for someone to cease typing words at you that you actually cannot directly read. It actually speaks to why the ignore feature is stupid. You are welcome to think that's because of some alarming bias I have, but that's just how I see it.
You seem to take this whole thing a bit too seriously, and I felt compelled to remark on it because I don't. I don't have anything against either one of you, but in a situation where two intelligent people are getting annoyed at each other on a message board, I would always prefer the option where modding is not required.

I never thought an intervention was necessary. I responded to you because you were requesting a ban of someone you were ignoring, which I still find strange. I always assumed his motivation was that it amused him to get under your skin and that perhaps he didn't "like" you, in as much as you can dislike someone as a poster.
I have been posting on message boards including this one since the dawn of the internet, and low level trolling isn't exactly something new that I felt required explanation, regrettable though it might be. I seem to be more tolerant of petty violence in our little world than others, that doesn't make me right.
Anyway, this is supposed to be fun, and it largely is. Relax and enjoy your weekend.
