These two are gonna boss the Premiership next season, they're already halfway there, we've got some frighteningly good prospects on the rise too, but rewatching the game from the other night, the Chelsea players literally bricked it whenever these two picked the ball up in the second half. One touch football, great skill, wonderful awareness.

We might have had a few hiccups this season, but with a young core of Can, Sterling, Coutinho & Hendo, we're on the up.

We have a lot of great young players. If they can all gel together and Sturridge stays healthy, we have a great core for a long time to come.

I was thinking earlier as I was walking to work. ... Someone on here said (it may have been Ryan) in the past that all you need is a lot of players who cause a threat, not one option but three or four.
If we have Coutinho, Sterling, Lallana, Markovic AND Sturridge to call on... Thats just threat from everywhere. Not many teams could cope with that. Its very exciting.

Slight caveat. All bar Sturridge are utter cunt at finishing so without him it all falls apart.

We're very lucky to have them. Two gems, and hopefully they continue to do the right things and we see them fulfil their potential with us.

Manquillo(if he's signed up permanently), Moreno, Can, Markovic, Coutinho, Sterling, Ibe, Origi...there's definitely a lot to be excited about as a Liverpool fan.

Lallana is a cool finisher at times. I'm hoping the likes of Markovic, Phil and Sterling start hitting the net a bit more regularly as they grow as players.

Key is keeping them here for the foreseeable future, fsg really need to put their hands in their pockets.

Coutinho, Sterling and Hendo are about to get new contracts so I think FSG are on the ball there.

Sterling will improve his finishing in the coming years. He said it himself thst he loses focus when he gets infront of goal after doing all the hardwork of creating the chance.
Some experience, mental training and improved finishing and he'll add more goals.

He just lacks composure, hes a good finisher, just gets flustered infront of goal, like Hansern says, that'll come with time, no doubt.

Sterling is a baby. Give him time to settle up front and he'll bang them in and shut you all up you whingey arses.

I agree he'll improve if he stays up front, but I'd far rather he didn't have to. He's only there because we don't have a workable alternative, and we should. The sooner we strengthen our striking options (preferably by the end of this month) the better IMO.

I think we definitely need to spend big on another striker in the summer. Get rid of Borini and Balotelli and go for someone with real quality and flair.

That and the best keeper available would be my priorities.

A keeper should have been resolved since 2nd January. Its a disgrace that we haven't brought anyone in to replace mignolet.

However good the young lads are I feel that other teams have more star quality and Its concerning that we will lost Stevie...

Agree, however, looking for the silver lining, this spell of games upfront will do him good cos he should be more composed when he does get chances.

He's done better since he got his place back. I'd sooner keep him than Jones TBH. We definitely need another one though.

Yup. And he's adding again to his knowledge of different positions. I mean so far, he's played on both wings, upfront, in the hole, right back and right wing back.

Yeah, thats what Arsenal fans and pundits said about losing Henry. Then they played better then they had in a few seasons. I'm expecting the same upturn in form. It will truly liberate a lot of the talent we have in the squad, which we've seen time and time again recently.

Depends what his prospects would be at the other club. He'd not be doing his career any good if he joined a squad in which he'd become no more than a bit part player.
