Think it's probably fair to say they're out of sight now in terms of us realistically catching them.

Ultimately i think they'll fall short of the two Mancs, but they're looking nailed on for 3rd at least.

Looks like it's between The Pool, Chelsea and Arsenal for 4th spot.

How the fuck are spurs in a title race ? just shows how we've fucked up so much over the last few years , we should easily be able to challenge considering how much we've spent recently and in the past .

Oh and i hate them .

I think Spurs are in with a title shout. Ultimately, I think they'll miss out but I bet they're not too far away.

Henry's signing could give Arsenal a shot in the arm for the 2nd half of the season. I think they'll finish 4th. Depends who Chelsea sign.

We need to make a couple of attack-minded signings in Jan.

A lot of us really wanted Scott Parker and Adebayor it was a great summer for them. They've gotten 3 of the best bargains of the last year. Got to show some faith into Kenny's vision though cause he didn't take a short term look to his buys.

Yeap, recruiting an experienced keeper like Brad Friedel too, replacing that clown they had before has unfortunately saved them a pile of goals this year.

I'd say we got 2 great bargains too.

Yep, but those bargains look a lot worse when your big money signings haven't performed yet. Not that I have given up on any of them but. The point stands.

Spurs can get to fuck. I hate their smug fans and Arry. They're pretty shoed in for 3rd, but wont have a chance to win the league.

I don't think they will win the league, still stranger things have happened.

Could you imagine the clamour for Arry to be the next England manager if they did?

Redknapp is a dislikeable character but he's a very shrewd manager and must get most of the credit for Spurs great form this season. They won't win the league though and will fade in the 2nd half of the season finishing 4th or 5th.

That's total BS. How can a team 3 points behind not be in with a damn big shout ?

They have a great chance if they do well in their head-to-heads with City & United since Spurs are knocking off those mid-lower table teams like coconuts at the fair.

I don't think they'll fade and there is no chance of us, Chelsea or Arsenal catching them ... we are all too inconsistent, which is the epitome of what Spurs have been all season.

I like you. Seriously though how they handle the next month is crucial, do they have the legs to carry through the paper squad they have until the end of the season? Im hoping City destroy them in the next game and really shake their confidence, they have some big games coming up and nothing would make me happier than seeing Spurs capitulate in emphatic fashion.

When they come to Anfield we have to absolutely abort them. I want Bales blood on the pitch.

People have been saying they won't last the distance for months now.

They're 20 games into the season, three points off top and showing no signs of slipping.

Right now they're most definitely title contenders.

I think we should focus on the 4th this season and let Spurs get their long coveted title ;-) I owuld rather they got it than any of the Mancs. But it will probably end up with Spurs spoiling it for city in two weeks and give scum the upper hand.

It is shame we didnt get our well deserved three points at home against Scum and Shitty. it would have put us in a very nice position by now!!

I'd rather see Spurs win the league than Citeh or the Scummers to be honest.....

They play good football even if Redknapp is their manager. You cant underestimate what a good job he has actually done their and the squad at his disposal with probably less funds than ourselves.....

If they won it, it would be more deserved than Citeh winning it thats for certain.

Over their next 7 or 8 league matches they have to play Liverpool, City, Chelsea & Arsenal ALL AWAY and United at home. That will sort them out.

They won't win the title. They're bottlers in the big games, regardless of where we are, it's United and City all the way, I wouldn't rule out Arsenal or Chelsea overtaking Spurs yet, there's alot of football to be played.

It amuses me why people get so carried away at this time of year, things start to take shape, yeah, but alot can change, as has been proven time and time again.

It's dead dead dead dead dead dead depressing that Citeh beat us last week coz they look a bit shaky now.

I hope Manure don't win the league - and I think Spurs look as likely as Citeh now, because they haven't set the world on fire, just done it on the blind side, worryingly so, like Manure.

I don't think Spurs will win the league, but they should certainly be treated as contenders. If we were in that position we would be demanding to be considered as realistic contenders, so Spurs should too.

When it comes to it I don't think they will do it though. I don't think they will necessarily fall that far though and will probably still finish top 4.

I'm slightly torn on this one really. First instinct is and always will be 'anyone but United' but I'm not keen on City either, so it would be good to see another team win, especially one that has improved steadily over time. However, I have always really really despised Tottenham, and I'm not sure I can bear them winning the league. The fans are annoying beyond belief as it is.

If Spurs draw or win against all the team mentioned and lose to us, we might not be 4th because we are so inconsistent. I just hope Spurs will not place the title to Man U on a platter that is all. I can take anyone being champ except Man U.

Spurs winning the league would be an amazing achievement and just goes to show what can happen when you spend money smartly.

Compared to the relative easy one they have had since the first few games. They are currently in the middle of a three match streak of games at home.

Oh, and ryan, yes it's hard to argue with that if he gets top 3 this year

He knows how to get his players onside and playing well

Spurs have spent massively for the past 4-5 seasons, (8-10 windows) I think they spent more than us in every window except last January's......
