A pub I used to frequent a while back did small 5 question rounds, all hands on the table or above table level, no headsets & no leaving the table during the round all sheets handed in at end of each round. Works ok & some giggles whilst each table watches another for signs of cheating & people doing stuff like standing up to scratch their arse!

I haven't been to one in ages. I've heard of pubs sticking in questions that no one would know unless they're cheating (like how far is Pluto from The Lying Rag, but Dantes probably knows that) and if they get it right they loose the points for that round.
