Bad weather, injuries, bad luck...everything went against us today.
Should have had a pen as well.

Think Klopp should have got Sturridge on earlier. Also, what was Origi supposed to do in 4 mins?

Meh, I think we let that be a draw after a certain point. Subs were late and we weren't exactly brave in numbers, Hendo did ok defensively but stifled us going forward and Gini not his usual self either.

Hendo and his fucking sideways and backwards passing does my fucking head in sometimes.

Played well, deserved to win but just didn't get the run of the ball. No doom and gloom from me, we've got a nice run of fixtures coming up.

Try to score a goal?

Shit happens. Could have been a win but tough place and tough time to play. Clean sheet and a point is good.

Irrelevent in the big picture. It was a poor return but a good result that most would have taken from St Mary's before the match started.

We can't say this every week though, it's not a good result if your main competitor wins and gains two points on you, how's that good? There's a long way to go and all teams will drop points, but over the course of the season, it's missed opportunities (like this) that teams usually rue.

The only thing that'll make me feel better after that is a thumping West Ham win and Lloris / Kane injury.

Come on you Irons!

Exactly, especially after seeing us miss chance after chance in the game.

I'd argue that these kind of games are the ones we need to be winning. But sure, 1 point is better than 0.

It wasn't a good result per se but it wasn't that bad a result either, surely. We didn't drop all the points as we might well have done in recent seasons, and not many will dominate Southampton at their place the way we did today. We know we have to keep improving but IMHO we can take encouragement from today overall.
