It was Houllier. There was some legal talk not so long ago as Houllier pretty much blamed him in a book I think.

Greenwood, left, in his first game
as England manager, picked Ray
Clemence, Phil Neal, Terry
McDermott, Emlyn Hughes, Ray Kennedy and Ian
Callaghan. Kevin Keegan also started, but he had
moved from Liverpool to SV Hamburg over the
summer. The friendly against Switzerland finished
