I normally avoid conversations like this (it was programmed into me growing up in Belfast) but the historical Macedonia is still in Greece. It has the birthplace of Alexander the great and everything. The other Macedonia decided to call themselves that, this led to annoyance on the part of the Greeks.

For sure I never partake in these kind of conversations with anybody other than my circle of close friends - which is like a mini United Nations lol.

We give each other some stick about things like that knowing its all friendly banter ... but never would we say the things we say to each other to someone outside of the circle!
