Firstly, I don't see Rafa ever managing us again. Now, this may shock, but even I wouldn't want him back at this point, now I've seen what can be achieved with a more attacking philosophy. FSG would not appoint.

In other news, I don't think he'd accept. There's no way a former Liverpool manager could take that job.

I don't think he'd take that job. For one thing I don't agree that the challenge of it *would* be his first consideration - despite the fact that he's clearly not getting the Liverpool job again under FSG, he'd know that taking the ManUre gig would make darn sure he would never stand a chance of coming back to us, and I strongly suspect he'd still like to do so some day. Partly for that reason, partly because of his family and partly, I suspect, because of his own regard for the LFC fan base, my bet is he'd want to avoid alienating those fans.
