Only remaining unbeaten team... I can see them doing well this season with a half decent squad. Good manager that Roberto Martinez..

Bit early to say for definite IMO. We ourselves learned the hard way yesterday how quickly the position can change at this stage of the season. That said, they finished the transfer window with an excellent trio of signings and I'd agree their prospects seem decent.

Consider it after ten games. Martinez has had great, but short, runs of results in the past, and so have the bitters. As with just about everything at this stage in the season, this kind of discussion has more to do with boredom than substance.

They've been decent. Got lucky with the red card yesterday as they were losing.
Got lucky with what could be the signing of the season after Joses mental breakdown. Lukaku will win games for them.
They'll finish about 7th-8th I reckon.

Barry and McCarthy are inspired last-day acquisitions. Them and Barkley look a more balanced midfield trio than ours.

That will make us 8th or 9th then because they will finish above us.... (so the Bitters keep telling me)

Best Everton side I've seen in decades.

Quality players all over the park for a change. They've bought and sold really well too.

It might take them a while to gel, and fuck knows how Martinez is gonna go with a bit more pressure on, but the basis is there for them to do really well.
