So, Sunderland

Pray that Gerrard has a good day at center... And that the Sunderland midfield remains fairly static.

Rodgers really is a pussy.

We are so dire I'm not even looking forward to watching us. Been a while since I've felt that way.

Hahahahahhaa fuck, Rodger's has gone all out, put his hands together, and simply prayed for the footballing Gods to once again allow a player to score against their ex-team. So Balotelli and Lambert have now dropped below Superstition in the pecking order. Fucking hell.

Sterling still on holiday??? What a fucking joke of a club! Is this for fucking real? We should sell the little shit before everyone realises he's not really all that good.

Borini doesn't score a shit load, but he offers great tenacity, work rate and movement. We've missed that in a huge way. If he doesn't score himself, he may well contribute in other ways. He's not completely shit.

Imagine if Borini somehow manages a goal though. Sunderland will offer us 14 mill again.

Confirmed @SunderlandAFC team: Pantilimon, Vergini, van Aanholt, O’Shea, Brown, Bridcutt, Larsson, Gomez, Johnson, Giaccherini, Wickham.

Confirmed @SunderlandAFC substitutes against #LFC: Jones, Graham, Alvarez, Buckley, Mandron, Agnew, Mannone.

Their bench is full of made up players. 2-1 win Borini to miss an open goal and everyone will hate him even more

We are gonna twat them. Their keeper is so shit he could not get Ming out the team.

He was at City until this season mate.

Not feeling optimistic about this one. Cant see where the goals will come from without Sterling.

Sterling is a young player and the pressure that the manager has been putting on him is far from ideal. Remember the damage Roy Evans did to Michael Owen by over-playing him in his first season. Rodgers said last year that he was planning to rest Sterling in January and he has been true to his word.
