Are the the Irish that might sort out Red Ninja’s driveway?

Rank.... Wank... Gunk... Gash... yes....

But Gank.... nope.... must be a Mexican thing.

Stevie - we didn’t really let the Nordies in on Dublin slang 🙂

Given news on RB slot I would like to see Ox start as at least we know he can occupy positions down that wing if required from midfield. I also feel we need to pair Mane back up with Robbo on the left but it seems Origi can only play left forward.

I will do a KHL and put some focus on one of Genk's central midfielders Sander Berge. He has over the last few summers been heavily linked with a move to a bigger club despite his relatively young age (21). Arsenal has been mentioned repeatedly and this summer he actually packed down his house in Belgium so sure where everyone (including Genk) that he was on his way. But any deal (not sure who was in for him) fell through in the end. These days he is of course linked to Man U together with 3-4 other young Norwegians.

He is a typical holding midfielder who rarely attack the box. He is quite tall but not especially physical strong. A lightweight Fabs (If you know what I mean. He is taller and weigh probably 6-7 kg more, but those cruching tackles are not there). Good on the ball, good reader of the game. Still I feel he should be a level or three below whatever we put out there today. He plays regurarly for the National team, but they fail to impress just as often as they put in a good performance. We will definately not see him on the scoresheet, or even near. I think over his 3 season in Belgium he has scored 1 goal. So trying to controll the midfield will be his task today. Using him suggests that Genk will try to play ball. I didn't see the Napoli game, but against Thunderstriking Salzburg we can say it went so-so.

Edit: Found the link below highlighting more details, but I think I got it covered above.

Sander Berge Analysis

I'm not sure he'll make more than a couple of changes for this. Think he'll want to get the points & see exactly how tough they are instead of risking anything, then rest a load of players at Anfield if they are poor.

Had Napoli rolled them over I think he'd make loads of changes, but in light of that result I can't see it tonight.

We’re forced into two changes at the back, and this is the perfect time to play Keita.

My guess is maybe Milner as well, to make it 4 changes.

Imagine my surprise when I found out Joakim Mæhle is Danish....

Its the midfield a lot of people have wanting to test. So yes, please dont be shite.

The “attacking dream” Keita and Ox midfield debuts today! Please don’t be shite.

Think it is a good place for them to get some minutes. Both are probably eager to go and I assume that even if they don’t have the matchtempo yet they should be able to adjust against this opposition (even concider they have the a Robbos twin in their team)

433 or 4231?

Reminds me of a situation when I played myself. It was a very tough opposition and even if we feared them we were quite optimistic and went out in a 4-3-3. We played well even if 2-1 under at half time but they quickly scored 2 in second half. To avoid total humilisation out coach shouted to our left wing to adjust. "4-5-1... 4-5-1". Our winger, not the sharpest of guys I must admit, replies "I don’t fucking know. I think it is 4-1." He was subbed 2 mins later.

This is probably going to be tricky. While I'm pleased at the results of the last 8 games. Against Utd we looked tired and lacking. Some of those previous 8 League wins (plus the win at Salzberg) were very hard fought. This will be no picnic. I hope of course I'm wrong.
