Think it's fine having concerns who wouldn't after losing a player like Suarez? Think we also have to be cognisant that not everything is within the clubs control when it comes to transfers. Sanchez going to Arsenal was all about location embarrassingly for him and not much we could do there. I also think Lallana is a cracking signing and will surprise a few next year. Can could be a canny signing, no pun intended and Markovic has potentially enormous potential but of course could be the next Bojan. Lovren would be a good addition if he comes and could be the line leader we've been missing and we haven't given up on Moreno yet. That's just the players we're aware off so hopefully some pleasant surprises to come. We're still a team who play some formidable footy and, whereas you cannot replace a player like Suarez, we can still build a stronger unit overall. I'm looking forward to it.
Nice post, agree with a fair bit of that, definitely looking forward to seeing Lallana next season though the Can and Markovic signings are sort of in between in that they look like really good buys for the future but not so much the here and now, think it's a lot to ask of 2 players so young and new to the league to make a real impact next season, hope they do but it would be no surprise if they didn't, its almost unfair on them to expect much even with all that money spent on them, do many 20 year old's ever come over here and hit the ground running?
Just fear it will go pear shaped again if we don't get it right this summer, for it not to do that i think we need 2 or 3 more to come in that can make a real difference straight away, hopefully Lovren is one of the answers but its hard to really be sure yet especially when our full back positions are in desperate need of sorting out.
Hearing about Ben Davies/Bertrand and Bony for big money is a face palm, ah fuck it, as you say its best to be patient and wait and see what actually happens and how the start of the season goes.
