These last 2 games he's hugely impressed me. I knew we were getting a technically brilliant attacking midfielder; but these last 2 game he's put in an absolute shift, and ran a team when we're a man down.

It's thrilling to see someone put the hard yards in AND be a joy to watch

i thought he was good.
that's before he signed with us.
now i think he's unfucking real with the potential to be world class.
tough as nails, confident, great skill and what an engine.
sheesh ... what a player.

Gonna be a top player. Cannot wait until we unleash his attacking potentials.
Now he is tied down too much, covering and pressing.

It is like having a Ferrari, driving it like a Sierra. Like Ibrahimovic once said about Pep at Barca.

His running power while being in full control of the ball is immense. Add to his height, physique, power and skills on the ball, I think we have got a hell of a player.

I’m trying to think of who does he play like and I struggle to think of anyone.

Present ? Nobody

Past ? Hmm maybe a Viera ? Box to box ? A Ballack ? A bit of Zizou the way he elegantly twists and turns his way out of tight spots ?

I know ! The Hungarian Nedved or Modric. In fact ChatGPT agrees too.

His work tete and physicality impressed me from the off, but we're seeing more and more what he can do with the ball. Watching Mount play like shit and then get injured only adds to the joy of watching Szoboszlai.

I'm very excited by him, and suspect there's a lot more to come.

Whatever profile we used to identify him or shortlist him, load it up again and if there’s anyone remotely similar on it buy them. What he has looks really well suited for the premier league.

Someone mentioned that City should’ve replaced KDB with him, the guy from anfield agenda keeps saying that he has a reputable source telling him that City did want him for exactly that but we got it done too quickly.

The likes on the first post are because of the sensational thread title btw

I came on to start a similar thread. The close control and evasiveness of Gini, a serious right peg - he could be an incredible player for us it's very exciting

It's weird. He and we've been better controlling games in a 4-4-1 formation, than we have in the 4-3-3 formation.

He's been very good so far. And we still haven't seen his shooting ability yet.

I think in the words of the famous Chinese general when asked about whether his acid had kicked in, it's far too early to say.
"I think it's kicking in!"
