Can I ask if any of those who voted yes, ever stood on the standing Kop before it was redeveloped?

Except for the last 15 minutes or so of that City game last season.I assumed you meant in football stadiums, I don't stand up by my TV watching games.

I'm a short arse, you'll be able to see.My understanding is that the proposals for "standing" are very different than what standing used to mean. More like the proposed standing airplane seats. Still an assigned spot for each person - each with a numbered spot to lean back on. But, this would allow about 2 times the density that current rows.
I think this could be done very safely, but am convinced that I would get assigned to staining behind Athens.

I wasn't trying to suggest that people who didn't stand on it want it back. I was genuinely interested.
Cos if you didn't it do it, whilst it was an experience, it could also be an unpleasant experience as you got pushed, shoved, manhandled, robbed and pissed on. And that was if you were lucky. The rivers of of piss that ran down the Kop wre legendary. After many games I came out feeling like I'd been performing 90 mins of exercise.
I sometimes wander if there is a romantic notion of standing being better.
