Oh yeah Cole, he wasn't even on the bench, right?

I'd rather have Shelvey on the pitch as long as he never tries to pull an Alonso.

Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey is willing to go out on loan to another Premier League club.

Shelvey, 19, had a stint with Blackpool but is back in Kenny Dalglish’s squad and regularly on the bench.

However, the England Under-21 ace’s name has been flashed around in the past few days as a possible loan capture. Dalglish, though, is not willing to let teenage talent Raheem Sterling leave any time soon.

The 17-year-old starlet is in demand on loan by Premier League clubs after dazzling displays for the reserves.

But Dalglish wants to keep Sterling – who has been warming up with the first team on the Anfield pitch before recent matches – close to the squad.
