I know, I know - players do add new elements to their game and in fairness Salah did create a lot of goals and chances for his teammates every season. But it’s incredible to see nonetheless. In his 15 minute cameo he played no fewer than 4 passes De Bruyne would be proud of - with either foot too.

He pisses me off even when he scores. I mean, great goal and all, but ffs he had two guys waiting there with an open goal and he decided to take the impossible shot instead. He’s a brilliant play maker outside the box, but boy is he a greedy fucker that puts himself first before the team when he’s in the penalty area.

You reckon? Not sure I'd agree with that, particularly top players that start in wide positions. But anyway, for me it's the trauma of seeing those kinds of shots not going in past games when we really needed a goal that has me nitpicking his decision making even when it goes his way.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think Salah has a little Milan Baros in him. In certain situations he doesn't even look up to see if anyone else is free. What I'm saying is, maybe he didn't see Harvey and Szobo in the box?

I don't see it that way. It was stupid, but who did Mane enjoy celebrating goals with most? Him and Bobby were a celebration double act. It kind of indicates the lack of high stakes for these players. Mane is acting like its a testimonial.

It’s not as if he’s not contributing assists as well as goals.
Of course it can be frustrating at times, I accept your point, but it I guarantee if he turned all “Bobby” people would start complaining he should shoot more and be proclaiming that’s “he’s done” because he’s not scoring as many and that “all he does is create goals for others”.
