Me too, only a cunt would want something to go against the club for their own end. There's no particular desire to be proved right, just ultimately wanting what's best for the club.
 
bar a light switch going off and putting in some amazing performances he won't succeed here though Mark, Benitez seems reluctant to even use him as a sub in the league now and you have to say fair enough

I feel that way too. He's a useless cunt but, however unlikely, I'd still like him to succeed. It's never going to happen though. So time to go.

But you have to ask yourself that when he finally made a few decent appearances on the right wing, how on earth did Benitez come up with the idea that it would be sound to use him on the left where he hasnt done anything decent for 2 seasons?

I agree, we should never see him play at left wing again. Up front or out right if we must, or on the bench preferably.

The force him to get a left foot experiment has failed, he won't become a better player. Sometimes if you have a limited player, you can just play to their strength, especially against shit/tired opposition. This is why he gets goals as a substitute.

As an alternative to Kuyt on the right side he proved actually interesting for a couple of games. For all Kuyts hard work and lojality to Rafas orders, Babel actually came on and ripped their left back apart with pace. he looked lively and confident. Throughout this season he should be used as an alternativ to Kuyt. I must admit that Kuyt is another player who frustrates me at times. I know what I get from him, and that is just not scaring any defender... Imagine him wit a little pace.
