I might get pillered for this but i feel that Leto will be a more than capable replacement for Babel.
From the few times i've seen him play, he has good control with both feet and can put in a wicked cross. Plus from all our reserves/young players going on loan, he went to the top division in another league.
Only concern is whether if he can take the physical demands of the EPL.

He's nowhere near good enough.
It's not even worth getting into to be honest.

Come on Ryan, you gotta give him a chance, after all he's only 23 and has all the technical attributes to make a fantastic winger. (just googled: he's 1.9m tall. Unless he's drogba i believe he can hold himself quite well in the EPL).
Checking his stats he came over to liverpool when he was 21. And that might have stunted his growth a little bit, not playing enough competitive games and such which is more we can say for Babel who has been given a chance time after time but still needs more than what Benitez has already given.

It's all very well being a good age, the ideal height, and having the right build to play, but if you're not very good with a football at your feet, then you're pretty much fucked aren't you.
My only memory of him is that home defeat to Olympique de Marseille in the Champions League. Rabbit in the fucking headlights. He couldn't have looked more out of place if he'd worn an Everton shirt for the evening, and sauntered around the pitch chanting "murderers!"
A quick check of Wikipedia shows that since then, he's playyed 22 times for Olympiakos and scored 1 goal.
Attributes my arse.

Hee.. i remember that game as well but we were fucking dire everywhere on the pitch not just leto.
As you said, base on current stats he's not worthy to play for liverpool BUT if Benitez wants him back after a loan deal it means something. All of our players who go on loan under Benitez never come back.
Hopefully Leto will turn out better than everyone expects.

There you go.

exception to the rule.
so ryan, do you think babel should be given 1 last chance? Given that we are most likely purchasing another left sided player (tevez? Silva?), the chances given to babel will be significantly less as he's most probably behind our purchase and behind riera.
