Seeing Mancini's turning to 3-5-2,wonder if Rodwell might be played in defence instead.
Cause I've always rated Rodwell more than Hendo and he's better in football manager.

that is also the expert view of my cousin who has probably seen every game he played for EFC, plus junior and reserve football. I respect his view on any football matter more than anyone who I have ever met/read/watched.
He's speaks much sense when it comes to footy.

Certain sections of the media for the last 2 or 3 years have hyped up Rodwell beyond justification imo.
And as for some stating his proper position in centre half, why is it Moyes hasn't tried him there more regularly?
Rodwell may turn out to be a top player but as it stands now, he's all hype with very little to back it up.

Rodwell played mostly CB at junior level until he joined the blueslime's first team squad. Plenty of good judges say CB will be Martin Kelly's true position, and for the same reason, despite the fact that he hasn't played CB for the first team yet.

Fantastic potential. However, to get better he'll need game time, and I don't just mean 10-15 minutes every so often, but in City's team, can you really see him starting ahead of some of the quality they already have? Unless of course they offload a few players, which could happen, I guess?
Remember Moyes calling them a small club.
