I just can't envisage us sacking him. Nor can I see us getting an adequate replacement. Unfortunate.

We've got a few piss easy on paper games coming up before our next tough away league game coming up, I expect him to go on a mini-run, have a new contract and half the idiots on here to call him wonderman or something.

Yeah like West Ham at home?

Norwich have lost something like 1 league game away in 2015.
It wont be easy with our current form.

And then Villa at home. Yeah we always win that one. Easy.

He will revert to some stupid formation, go on mini run, then everyone will think we will make top 4 and he will be hailed a some sort of tactical genius in the media, that is until he is to be found out in his tactics again, that he has no answer to.. cue collapse

Can we just sack him now. . Please.. A big part of me want us to go on a terrible run just to get this clueless numpty out...

I've never felt this much bitterness towards a manager since Hodgson..

Dont think he will get sacked before Christmas unless we go on a prolonged run of defeats. That said Id be amazed if FSG werent sounding out alternative options at this point. Theyre probably tapping up Ranieri as we speak asking if he is happy to work with an incompetent transfer committee

Ermmm.
Didn't you start a thread on how we would make the champions league after we went on that mini run last season.

Depends on when the owners' choice of successor becomes available. If they want Klopp, Rodgers could be gone by Christmas. If they go for Ancelotti they'll have to wait until next summer, as he was going to have an operation when he left Real and then have a period of recuperation.

We've won 1 out of 5 at Anfield against Aston fucking Villa.

That fundraising bit is cringeworthy.

Hopefully we've talked to Klopp already, but knowing our owners we'll be going for someone else IF he's sacked.

You know our owners? I really don't think you have sufficient data to make this kind of assertion.
Even if Rodgers was sacked and we ended up replacing him with someone other than Klopp, how could you possibly know that it was down to a flawed ownership strategy?

Hiring Rodgers with his lack of experience? Do you think they'll go for the more obvious choice now? They also talked to Martinez before hiring Rodgers.
AVB is out of contract next summer. FSG like him and in my opinion it could easily be him.

I'm fine with them getting in someone else than Klopp. But we need to pick a manager in that tier and not in the tier below. I'm not sure they will do that.
Its all imho obviously.

Sluggish unshaved with a cap and training jacket. ... Klopp will not reach the visitors chair of Henrys office now that he has been blended by those teeth! !!

Put those teeth away, monsieur - they are blending me!

Lets face it, whoever comes in is going to get it eventually. Klopp will go through the same process of having all of his comments picked apart for how endearing they are, before bad results mean the same initially pleasing character traits become irritating. We saw it with Rafa, Hodgson, Kenny and now Rodgers. Whoever comes in needs to be backed by the fans, backed by the board and given a proper footballing environment to work in, instead of this haphazard business-applied approach. Fuck off Ayre and have "football" people in the positions that matter.

That's why I'd personally prefer someone more experienced at managerial level. Someone who's been there and done it a few times at the highest level in a few different leagues, as opposed to Klopp just doing it in Germany and already experiencing a fairly damaging campaign. Someone who will lead the board and club when it comes to footballing matters, rather than having to make compromises because of a lack of experience. I really couldn't give that much of a shit about PR, I don't necessarily want a nice man who'll say the right things but struggle to translate it to the pitch. Call a spade a fucking spade.

Who else was available at the time that Rodgers et al were being "interviewed"?
