So there strong rumours coming out of Spain that Benitez is going to go after Robben in the summer. Both AS an Marca are reporting that he is preparing a 20mil bid.

Do you want the guy to be at Anfield next season.

For all the diving i would love to see him here, although i think a fair few fans would hate it. He is the kind of player we have lacked since the days of Oyvind Leonh....... Sorry meant McMannaman, a really player that can beat his man and get a cross in. And also some real flair and skill from the wing.

I think he would love to come aswell, he wouldn''t have to take his annual arse kicking in the champs leauge neither.

Too old now for the PL, nty

Hes 25 the same age as torres, old really. He's also been one of Madrids best players this season. He is miles better anything we have on the wings at the moment.

Yes. At 25 he is FAR too old. Fucking idiot.

Robben was slating us AGAIN recently, so i really can't see him joining even "if" we did want him.

To be fair I'd be glad to, because it would be really hard to like this cunt.

To be fair i think this would be the thing that scuppers the move alot of our fans don't like the lad, but maybe that would make him strive to win over the fans.

It wasn't slating was it? Wasn't he just pissed off that he keeps being defeated by us.

It's an easy mistake to make looking at his ugly bald head.

first, did not realize that he was that young, second thanks for calling me names for that, and third i still don't want him here

Yeah it is - without doing the research one could easily mistake him for a 30+ year old. I did the same thing with Zidane when he was playing for Juventus.

But getting back to the point - we know that he is a good player and a good diver. But also there is the concern that - if I remember correctly is he left sided ? - can you imagine for half a season or more we may end up playing our 2nd choice left back and left winger with both he and Aurelio down the left !!! they most certainly will be injured for long periods. I am just waiting for Aurelio to get another knock - I pray not.

Don't want him... We need wide players that have more facets to their game than what I have seen from him in the past few years.

As for age, and Robben being too old..... time to sell Stevie G I suppose. It's been good while we had him, but he's clearly past it. Should have sold him a few years ago really.

There is no mileage in this link whatsoever, so there is little point in giving it too much consideration. What's with the last day or so anyways... Ibrahimovich, Robben, Robinho... it's like we're going all the players Rafa would absolutely shudder at the thought of signing.

For what it's worth though, I'd take the hit in terms of the cuntiness if his fitness could be relied upon because his talents out on the wing would be a blessing. But it can't. And when you start talking about 20M, the whole thing just sounds even more ludicrous - the only club that would pay that for him is City.

I'd go all out for him

He's a pure cunt, but one which could help Liverpool win the title.

Does he make us dramatically better in a position that we need drastic improvement in..?
[/quote]

Will his attitude and demeanour upset the sqyad dynamics?

Will his injury problems limit his ability to be an impact.

Robben's well known for being a bit of a prick. He's an exceptionally talented player, and on paper, is one of the ideal players to filol the role to the left of Gerrard.

However, I don't think that he's the sort of player who woul do well at Anfield under Benitez.

There are other players I'd prefer.

There aren't many better wingers around. He has a reputation for being a bit of a twat, but so did Pennant and Bellamy. He's injury prone, but so are Aurelio and Degen.

The only thing that makes this unlikely is the mooted transfer fee, but that could just be made-up bollocks. I'd be happy for us to sign him if the fee was partly dependent upon the number of appearances etc.

to be fair he's looks older than my nan.

Whilst he is a talented player, I think he would prove a disruption to the team and als ohe is a twat.

Yes.

£10-12m, absolutely no more, chances are he'll be injured for ages, doubt Madrid would let him go for that much though, they're not usually good to bargain with are they.

No to which bit?

Those of you calling him an a-hole, he is one, but we need a few more of them with a bit of flair, IF Robben stays fit, its a no brainer.
