I can understand the note of caution because the mood in here does look like people setting themselves up for a fall.
Utd are in a fair mess right now but what would really concern me if I were a fan would be the age of their best players, and what that might mean for them if they don't get back in the CL in the next two years. How many good players have they got of 25 and under?
Ander Herrera
Phil Jones
Luke Shaw
Adnan Januzaz
David De Gea
Marcos Rojo
Evans
Wellbeck
Jones
They're good players in my view.

Strange how Chelsea tried to get Rooney so. Also I think RVP would make either team too.I think having a thread for each one of these fuckers is a good idea.
Their 'best' player are much overrated, and have been misfiring for some time. That manc comes on here claiming some of their shite is criminally underrated, e.g jones, smalling, cleverly, fletcher, young etc.
None of their starting 11 would make the city or chelski starting 11.
.
“Kagawa did not wish to fulfil my wishes, my philosophy when I played him in the United States [on pre-season tour],” he said.
I am hoping we throw some more at the central midfield problem.

Ha ha that is quality, although you seem to do know an awful lot about Utd considering your hatred! 😉I'm fucking sick of reading about manchester u fucking nited on my Liverpool FC forum.!
I couldn't care less about the cunts and their fans, whether they are cunts or decent or chastened, and their so called missing and injured players that every fucking club have, and their wonderful wooden headed manager, the tactical genius that has collected the sum total of one fucking point from games against Swansea and Sunderland, and their shite players, and their possible new signings who all seem to be left backs who can fit in wherever the fuck you want them to, and how they will fit in, or not fit in with their previously unheard of 3 5 2 system, and fucking woodward, and the fact they have so much money they can pay whatever the fuck they like for a player and still pay him a gazillion english pounds a week after tax, and their ugly bastard centre back jones, and their shirt sales in the far fucking east, and their horrible fucking shirts with the chevrolet logo, and their diving bird shit eating cheat young, and their smarmy fans walking up the street at 1pm of a Sunday with manchester u fucking nited on the back of their black jackets on their way to the pub for a 4pm kickoff, and their new white hope janujez, who will be fucked off when they pay 65 million for some cunt that cant get his place at Real Madrid, and their sponsorship deals that go up or down depending on how they perform, and di maria and vidal and daley fucking blind and blah di fucking blah, and predictive text that wants me to give manchester united and all belonging to it a capital letter but I wont fucking let it!
And bobby fucking charlton, ferguson, giggs, crerard you cunt, and every fucking neville that ever existed!
I'm ambivalent.
Now that Moyes isn't there to ruin them anymore I can go back to wanting them get beaten every single week.
It's great.

That's 13 players. More than double what they have. Many of those are among our best players already. Clearly, we're stronger than they are and the gap will widen over the next 5 years. If in addition to that we get a £100m or so boost to our spending with 2 CL qualifications over them, then we'll have enough to maintain that gap regardless of the stupid money they throw at players who'd really rather be in the CL.
IMO if they don't effect a major turnaround within two years, the pattern will be set for the next decade. And what applies to the trend between us and Utd applies just as much to those between them and City, Chelsea, and Arsenal.
How's that for hubris?
Van Gaal tries to motivate Kagawa:
... in response to a question about leaving Kagawa out of the first XI.
Di Maria is a statement of intent IMO and I don't think that is the last piece of business we will do this season. .
I thought Moyes staying for another year would have just made their fall bigger, harder and take longer to recover from so want them out of the top but not so bad that he's get the sack. What?
