I know, I noted his 'probably the best keeper in the Premiership' comment. I noticed cos although he rates him he usually says 'in the top 4 or 5 in the league' & this has clearly changed in his mind for some reason.

Even if the terms hadnt been agreed, I'd think it to be very unlikely..I know we're all happy to read those nice articles when players say nice things about us..but Reina is one of those who LIVES this club..this was obvious on the Singapore trip..he was the one who always had time for fans..i remember they were on a river boat on a meet the fans session..he and Kuyt were bounding up and down on the river-boat and waving and clapping..at one point Reina even got the boatman to move closer to the shore where the concentration of fans was thickest..
in an age when loyalty isnt so common, ( from club to player as well as vice versa) this was a player who LOVED Liverpool FC..his pitch exploits prove that as well..
this is also why even if i think Kuyt is playing badly, I'll never slag him the way i do others..for example a ponytailed Ukrainian bastard who was in the boat but spent the whole time wearing shades and who sat in the cabin with a huge set of headphones and who didnt wave at a single fan despite seeing and hearing the clamour of thousands.

Just watched the highlights and Reina was enormous. The save on Downing in particular was stellar.
