Of course he's writing "in character" or whatever, but he does it well. I feel convinced by him.
It's a shame you have to bring it up.
Anyway, which is more real, affecting correct written English, when you don't talk that way, just because you're capable of doing it, or using your wit to correctly represent your colloquial language.
I prefer the latter, to be honest. It's sort of literature at times.

I don't agree with the implication behind that bolded bit, not as a general statement. Written communication would be impossible without some common standards to work to. Even the Quadraspazzes of this world need them as a backdrop to their colloquialisms.
That said, I don't have a problem with our resident Quadraspaz's style. It's part of the rich tapestry that is 6CM. 8)
