Aidy Ward, the nincompoop, is covering for him by saying he wasn't there. Kid needs help not excuses. He looks like he was in that accident.

If City want a good ROI, they need to ensure this kid is treated the way the Cowboys treated Dez Bryant.

I think Sterling's success was aided by the way the club treated, nurtured and protected him. I don't think he'll get this at City ...

Tbf we don't know he was in the car.

We do know he's got a load of dickhead mates so it's not beyond the realms of possibility he did lend it to someone.

It's also easy to imagine they're covering it up for him too.

Shame the police weren't involved, some simple fingerprinting could have cleared it up relatively easily.

I think City is a pretty good club for him to 'grow up' at - the likes of Kompany won't take any shite, and he'll see he's down the pecking order behind Aguero, Silva and Toure, so may just get his act together.

However, £49m is still good business for us. He's clearly a dickhead.

Loved his home debut. He was shite and missed yet another one-on-one. City results never used to bother me unless we were close. Now they are on the hate list and I hope Chelsea batter them next weekend.

He has a massive lump on his forehead and another one under his eye. Either he was in the car or he forgot to say good morning to Yaya.

Ah, I wasn't aware of that.

The fucking tool. Let's hope this is a sign of things to come & citeh have spunked a load of cash on a waster.

It was funny watching film of him outside the training ground yesterday. He used to be such a sullen fecker at Melwood, but he obviously realises he's only got the City fans left to charm, so he's forcing himself to sign all the autographs and even smile for the punters. One buffoon asked him to pose with him for a picture, then couldn't work the camera, so it took AGES, but poor old Raheem, who would in the past have just walked off, had to keep standing there with a fixed grin on his face. None of that's going to last very long, the little creep.

The race is on between Sterling's need to grow up and his ability to do so. It'll take him a good while to climb the pecking order sufficiently to rank alongside players like that, his ability to avoid going off the deep end in the meantime will be tested to the limit, and at the moment I'm not convinced (to say the least) that that's a test he'll be able to pass.

It was way to early to say Alberto was a terrible buy when we signed him and that Reina would be shit in his thirties etc etc

Sometimes you just know

Didn't you "know" that we should have sold Suarez when Arsenal made a bid of £40,000,001?

The way you cynically dissect someone's true personality and motivations is impressive and faultless.
