Doak is a talented kid, but like I said, not good enough with his left foot, no end product and lightweight.
What works for him is his pace, tenacity in combination with his low center of gravity.

If he was good enough Slot would have kept him around, it's not like we have an abundance of wingers, especially with Chiesa being made of glass.

It is waaaay too early to write off Doak. In terms of no end product he had an assist the other night for Scotland and has a goal and 3 assists in 8 starts in the Championship. The difference between him and Wilson is in terms of his explosive dribbling, which does appear to be elite level. Wilson is a clever player who is excellent at taking his chances but doesn't have any elite quality.

I honestly think we should keep an eye on the Championship this season, there's some decent players emerging in that league.

I just had a look at a few compilations and there's a few players who impressed me.

1. Chris Rigg - Sunderland. 17 year old left footed attacking midfielder.

I don't think there was mad noise about Robertson before we signed him. There's loads of flavour of the month players come and go in the Championship. We've bought Doak because we see something in him. Yes, he's a rough diamond at present and he may never become what he need him to be, but to write off a player who turned 19 this month after a handful of games in the Championship is a touch hasty.
