So Brendan's in gaol then

edit: though if buffoon is spelt in one way and one way only, how can you "decide" to spell it differently?

(I hope I spelt it right...)

the special one is clearly putting the pressure on rafa with an interview like that.

i'm in the window now, i'm looking for a team in england. i won't be in the shop window for long though so hurry up and sack that spanish bafoon.

tick tock.....

I seem to recall some other retard struggled to spell "buffoon"

And

'Thanks For The Champion's League - now fuck off'

Also, while dreamy would struggle to construct a coherent sentence with a Duplo 'sentence construction' Kit, he does make the occasional salient point

rafa's talking shit as usual. we'll do well to finish top 4 this season never mind win the league, our fate in the champions league is no longer in our own hands and theonly reason we're still in the fa cup is because we haven't played in it yet.

any day now he'll give an interview about how much better the grass is now at anfield and why he's responsible or that.
Ha ha I don't know if I want to laugh or cry reading all that.

Our only chance of silverware this year is the FA Cup.

If we don't win something this year it will be at least 5 years since our last trophy :'(

Simply not good enough.

Rafa better pray he gets everyone fit to win the Fa Cup.
Dreamy. Please please please please please please please please please please - STOP using the phrase "simply not good enough".

Move on to "ticks all the boxes" for heaven's sake.
You're punching above your weight there Sanchez, you gotta take it one game at a time with Dreamy. Keep it tight early doors, then do your talking on the pitch. You'll get over the line with him if you give it 110%. It's usually a game of two halves, but Dreamy's got his first 5 yards in his head what with being a downhill skier.
Or maybe after we get spanked yet again you could post an enlightening post on tactics and how fine lines injuries and luck were undoing? Or how Lucas is a quality player or that Rafa's tactics were spot on.

Sometimes the simpliest answer is the correct one.

Every single person rounded on me for being a negative cnut on here and your were especially so.

It must cut you that someone so stupid obviously can see the blindingly obvious long before you. I wonder how long its going to take for you to turn and see the sh*t we are in at the moment.

Nobody is going to give two hoots to claims of injuries or bad luck if we finishe 5th and end up in the Europa cup in 2 weeks time.

We need to start winning alot of games and only the most optimistic fan could see that happening with any sort of conviction.
God, that was like reading The DaVinci Code through a de-thesaurus.

Dreamy, let's not compare our posts. You don't see Nobel Prize winning scientists having to explain themselves to Russell Grant do you?

And while we're on it - Being a dreary, negative, downbeat fool ad nausem doesn't constitute erstwhile analysis unfortunately. It's predictable, nauseating, and impresses nobody. Fell free to take some form of 'victory' out of it though. You need it.
If you think I post on here to impress anybody your confusing me with yourself there.

I call it as I see it and all your over analaysis when it's obvious the problem is alot simplier than you try to make out.

Fine. Rafa was brought in to win the league and trophies and he's done either now for a very long time.
Yea, the horse-drawn team carriage hasn't been seen in Liverpool for many a year.
Ha ha. Fair point but you know what I mean. It's already looking we will have to wait until at least 2011 for a trophy. Jesus even Evans and Souey managed the ratio a trophy every 4 years.
Ratio?

Rafa has won 4 trophies in his 5 years. Or two if you discount the one off matches(not sure why you'd do that though). That's not a bad ratio. Although I do agree it's been too long since his last one.
Super cup and charity shield barely register as cups. But fair enough.

And our Trophies have gone its gone Big, small, average and tiny and that was 4 seasons ago now. :'(

If only there was a way of watching games live on a stream.....

Hmm I think I'd call it Pat's little magic box of live football or something like the Internet.

Oh and don't tell me you are still upset that I could call Keane's transfer a massive failure the day he signed while you were bladdering on about how intelligent a footballer he was and that Rafa knew what he was doing.

A guess it was aken to your wonderfully insightful Mullins comments.

England me arse!

Because he didn't watch the game, got caught, and thought he could somehow appear magnanimous without admitting guilt?

Oh, memories...

There are some other memories which are as revealing tho; there've been some posters on here who've always been very critical of Rafa..and as the minority, they've always borne the brunt of the majority's withering fire..I remember one particular witch-hunt against these posters when we were flying last year and were chasing the Mancs for the title..at the time I thought, fair enough..

We were doing well and I suppose those posters criticising Rafa were dead wrong...amazing how quickly things change.

I'd just like to say that whilst Dreamy and rage make easy targets, perhaps we should actually start winning games before being so gleeful about how stupid they are.

The apology was nothing to do with the game (which for the record I did watch) it was because it seemed like every poster even one's I get on well with were fed up with my negative over the top Keane disliking attitude.

Go reread it nowhere did I say I didn't watch the game, in fact the only hint of that was you saying it wasn't on tv.

Big deal I watch most of our games online these days, but I wasn't about to argue something neither one could prove.

I'll set the record straight now but I'm sure you'll still argue. As I said neither one can prove the other wrong so why bother.

You're right Avemon. It is easy to target Dreamy about how stupid he is.

But that is besides the point. The withering fire that you cite is a direct reaction to the sigh inducing negative commentary (at least it is for me).

I think that what Glock, Rage, and Dreamy have in common is their consistent inability to provide rational critical analysis about the team's performance. It is quite obvious to anyone with more than two brain cells to rub together that there are many, many factors that conspire to bring success or failure. Reducing this in each and every thread to the simple fault of the manager is an assault on the intellect of each and every one of us.

Indeed, Benitez could possibly be the key to the overall current poor level of performance, but the tedious, lazy assertions (because they are easy to make in the place of real analysis) of these aforementioned individuals continually erodes the probability of there ever being a real, valid, criticism of his actions as a contributing factor.

It's sad, because I'd actually like to see an intellectually uncompromised evaluation of Benitez against his peers, and alongside the other key contributors to the difficulties faced by our team. The irony is that Rage et al are the ones who are actually preventing it from happening.

Well, there is always the ignore function... As in I mean literally ignore them. I just about replied to Glock in another thread but stopped myself. Like quitting smoking, it can be done (although I haven't mustered the courage to try that yet).

It is frustrating when threads get derailed for non-humorous reasons.

Yes I have ignored them by not replying or answering to any of their posts directly. But their comments are peppered everywhere, like unwelcome mosquitoes bites. We itch to scratch at it but it be like rising to their baiting or sinking low to their level.

how is this thread getting derailed. the title says rafa!!

mr dirty if you feel that responsibility doesn't rest with the manager fair enough. last time i looked in the direction of tlw plenty there did.

what do you think rafa's doing today? - micro managing the fertilizer mixture by adding his own brand of shit into the mixture no doubt to help the grass grow.

tick tock rafa - give all the interview you want, no one cares, all that matters is that we're out of the league in october, the champions league is not in our hands at the group stages, your 20 million signing that the stringent medical said would be ready in 8 weeks has yet to start a game and 1 win in 10 is it now....go and win a fucking game of football!!!

Couldn't have put it better myself. I have tried but I've ended up losing my rag(e)...

Its nice to see Rage is reverting back type (pre big bust up) ie his usual dull, monotonous tirade about how the manager is to blame for anything.

The bit in bold above is what the hystericals need to learn. There are some who seem to be able to provide rational debate about Benitez, but as you say they get lost in the tsunami effect created by Rage, Dreamy, Lechachal etc.

I've almost given up the debating save for the odd comment, simply because these hystericals don't, won't and can't see it any other way. In fact I'd like these people to put me on ignore, that way I can't see them and they can't see me... 😉 It won't happen though.

It's sad, because I'd actually like to see an intellectually uncompromised evaluation of Benitez against his peers, and alongside the other key contributors to the difficulties faced by our team. The irony is that Rage et al are the ones who are actually preventing it from happening.

😉 It won't happen though.

the threads about rafa ffs, we've won 1 in 10 and the league is over for us in october. the manager may not be responsible for my tea being burned tonight but i'm struggling to see how he's not responsible for this.

Thanks Avey and I agree.

One is a fact and one is your opinion. I bet you don't know the difference.

why is it that you ran to the ignore button, kept referring to me in your posts and now that more and more people are not interested in your blind optimism you come back out and start having sly little digs at me?

face the facts - oops sorry can't do that i suppose seeing as though rafa in his revisionism has decided that success isn't about wining trophies.

oh and now i'm preventing an intellectual evaluation of rafa...wow i didn't know i had that sort of power round here.

Oh fuck off. Really. I'm an idiot for having you on ignore and now I'm an idiot for not having you on ignore. That's you in a microcosm, there's no point because you can't win, no matter what you do. You change your tune to suit your argument. You twist the facts to suit your agenda. Its boring, its repetitive and most of all, its fucking dull.

PAs you return to you WUM agenda, people will soon remember what you are really all about. At least people like Vlad can be coherent and actually see the good and the bad. You can't.
