With all the Rafa threads around I wanted to know if everyone would be happy if we won the champions league but ended up outside the top 4 in the premiership. I would like to start by voting 'yes' Rafa absolutely have to stay if we win the champions league regardless of how we do in the league. It would be massive and especially from a business point of view the owners would have no reason to sack Rafa.

Although the PL is the bread and butter, the CL is the reason we're buying the good players.

I think this time they will let 5 English teams in, if it so happens that a club outside the league's top 4 is the European champion.

This is correct. The 4th place team would lose out.

I would settle for any silverware this season but the CL would be a good consolation prize considering how desperate we are for the EPL. We would have to do something extremely special to pull a rabbit out of the hat!
