Erm, "hit and miss" wasn't really what I was saying there. If I was to wade into the argument, I'd say that Song is a defensive player, Bendtner is clearly the physical presence with height option that he never really used to have and then the rest of his attackers all have very good technique.. bar perhaps Walcott who has still got a ways to go.

whinger has bought some players with appalling control and subsequently had to ship them out. besides if whinger had bought babel arsenal would have made it to the semi final of the CL with a very winable game against chelsea.
anyway, it's all well and marvelous being wise to the event now that things have actually unfolded but at the time of babel's purchase he had put in a series of terrific performances of power, pace and control in the under 21's, not only that he put in excellent performances in his debut season for us and was voted young player of the season but since then he has gone backwards and the new trend is rip the piss out of him (hooray!) well if people want to jump on the babel scapegoat express (as if ONE PLAYER could be responsible for the utter dross on the opening day of the season) then knock yourself out that's your choice but I am personally going to support the lad through thick and thin that's MY choice.
