The plan was to win the league in 5 years. He failed but he looked happy with the 2nd spot last season.
He certainly didnt take the league result last year as a failure.

I think Tony is merely talking about the inquisitorial system of criminal justice which was common on the Continent; but less so after the ECHR. This was where a judge would conduct the trial and ask questions etc.

The UK (together with all other Common Law jurisdictions including my own) applies an adversarial system wherein the judge merely acts as arbiter and leaves it to the lawyers to present the case.

Firstly, You are not guilty until proven innocent in Europe.

Secondly, Rafa is not guilty of being happy with second place.

Each country has its own specifities (sp?) in Law. I never said "its the other way around here" you know very well its a bit more complicated than that.
In all his press conferences, I never heard Rafa say it was a failure finishing 2nd, and not winning the league after 5 years. He looked satisfied.
Thats a good enough evidence for me.
And yeah, he's quite a good manipulator.

And I hope even you wouldn't ever be convicted of something simply because you "looked" guilty of it.

this is what all too often happens le chacal. people get diverted from the real issue because it makes them uncomfortable. it's easier that way. so we'll have a 10 page thread discussing swiss law rather than whether rafa has manipulated the fans.
