Sounds like he's knows he's gonna be sacked if he's acting that way and he thinks the game is a 'distraction'.

I don't see any point in waiting beyond the Napoli game, once that's over we should just cut our losses.

I have at last found out that the white liquid in the bottle is in fact milk.I therefore resign from my position as managing director of lfc and will now be distributing milk to the players to replace the uterus liquid that strenghens the bones of injured players.
 
At least Hodgson had grey hair and was already a bit of an old duffer to begin with though, look at what happened to Houllier and Rafa... A heart attack and ageing 20 years (with a mid-life crisis goatee thrown in), respectively!

I thought that Roy done a sterling job at Fulham. I wanted King Kenny as first choice and was gutted when he wasn't appointed.

I thought ok, let's give Roy a chance and get behind him. However, after the first 2 games he looked woefully out of his depth.

Can't wait for him to get the boot!

Glad that the new owners seem to be listening to the right voices and making all the correct decisions so far in the rebuilding process.

Time to remove the next blood clot from the club after getting rid of Purslow.

I have a feeling that Purslow and Broughton always intended to step down after the takeover or debt reduction was completed. It seems that was clearly their remit.

If that is true, their refusal to give the temporary manager job to Kenny makes a bit of sense. If this was Kenny instead of Roy Hodgson in the spotlight right now, we would be looking at a 100% revamp of all managerial staff - playing/non-playing. That is a bit much...

I'm happy Kenny is around.

Are you referring to Purslow as a 'blood clot'?
 
I'm not sure what people's problem with Purslow is. He had a hand is Rafa leaving but after a 7th place finish, let's be honest that Rafa had to go. Roy wasn't what we needed and I'm sure his resignation has something to do with our current plight although it could simply be that he has already fulfilled the mandate he was brought in to.

did he? a proven manager that had one truly poor season (I that I would snatch your hand off now if it were offered) compared to his previous seasons which gave us regular CL football. rafa didn't 'have to go' at all.
 
He did have to go. Just because we're even shitter now doesn't change that. The squad had the air of a religious instruction class in a boarding school where the master is bumming half the kids.
 
Yes. He did neil. He alienated the squad and forced out some of our better players. He was year 6 in a 5 year plan. or squad WAS getting worse. He was done
 
it was a poor season but rafa has previous of turning poor seasons around, here and valencia.

as for the players who supposedly wanted him out I'm pretty much getting sick of their attitude in general anyway.
 
I was more sick of rafas nonsense like for like subs.
The players seemingly didn't want to play for him like they don't want to play for roy. It's all irrelevant anyway
