RedCafe love the whole Gerrard is a diver routine. Anyways, he's not.

I don't mind players making the most out of challenges - goalkeepers do it, defenders do it.. it doesn't matter what position you're in, it's just part of the game.

If the authorities were to strictly enforce bans on diving or feigning fingers / hands in the face etc. (a la Valencia against Wigan last week) then this could be virtually eradicated in the top leagues within a season, unfortunately those spineless little gits at UEFA / FIFA don't have the guts.

Whilst i think banning players on the bases of video evidence for diving is a good idea, i think it's a disgrace that Eduardo has, all of a sudden become the victim of a "witch hunt" Why, all of a sudden, has everyone gone bananas over a dive when simulation in the past has been taken with a pinch of salt? Why is Eduardo going to be banned and not Gilardino for his dive against Celtic? Or Rooney for his dive against Spurs? etc
If something like this is to come into place then Uefa, or whoever has the power these days, need to come out at the start of the season and lay down the law.

The law is the law NG, it's there already.
If they are clamping down and Eduardo was the first one to make an example of then that's just tough.
The time to feel hard done by is when other equally obvious cases might go unpunished.
