Brendan Rodgers and two first-team players will preview our summer tour of North America at a press conference today - and our cameras will be at Anfield to provide free coverage online and on LFC TV.

The Standard Chartered-presented tour will involve games against Toronto FC in Canada (July 21), Roma in Boston (July 25) and Tottenham in Baltimore (July 28).
Today's media preview is due to begin at 12pm BST, and you can watch it free of charge on LFC TV or on our LFC TV Online page. Alternatively, watch an embedded stream by clicking back on this story just before noon.
For more information on the forthcoming tour, check out our brand new tour site LFCTour.com which will be bringing you exclusive interviews, videos, photos and tour diaries from the players once the tour gets underway.
LFC TV can be viewed for free on Sky channel 429. It is also available as part of the XL package on Virgin channel 544. Please note that, during today's coverage, the sound from Anfield will be turned on just before the press conference begins.
On demand coverage will be available online and on YouTube shortly after the press conference has finished.

Certainly is Ryan

I'm thrilled he's nearly back. Even if he wasn't good he's such a likeable bastard i find it hard to not smile when i see him

Same with big andy. Love that massive woman punching cunt

"theres a whole raft of players who have been linked with liverpool, but very very few of them are targets"

or sumink like that

He's a bit of a monster is BR

He's refusing to say anything of targets or any players who might go.

When questioned over Aqua, he said he's talked with him and obviously he's a player with great quality, and he'll get a good look at him over the summer.

Randomly mentions Pato when talking about lucas as the under-21 captain for brazil

*tenuous exciting link alert*

Robert G@RobGutmann
Rodgers studiously swerving the question about Carroll definitely being in his plans for forthcoming season. Same for Cole and Aquilani.

He's a shit stirrer tht lad. BR has done the same with every player who's been linked away, and there's no way all 4 that were mentioned are going.

I think we might be in for granero then. PLays in a position we need a bit more creativity in, slightly versatile and won't cost the earth.

Certainly not one i'd turn my nose up at if the price was right. 7-8m i'd be ok with this

He was mentioned in today's paper, and RM rejected our bid.

Did anyone else get the impression that maybe Andy won't be with us come the start of the season?
Nope

Carroll will be staying. BR hasn't had the chance to properly meet him yet due to the euros. I've no doubt he just wants to lay out his principles to andy and make sure he's on board with them.

IF andy doesn't like the way Rodgers wants to play, then he can fuck off and he's a damnable fool. But hes not a fool. He's a boss.

I watched it mate, and he looked well shadey when talking about Andy imo.

Maybe it's just me.

I'm watching it too. I think he's just being aloof because he hasn't had a proper chance to talk to him yet.

yeah he didn't exactly convince that carroll was going to be a major part of his plans next season which is fair enough . Personally i don't want to see another season like last for him , just used here and there and never really get going .

I like listening to rodgers , he seems to have a steal about him and from what he's said so far i'd have to say he's more my type of manager than rafa , roy and even dalglish . Loads of people who have been around him seem very impressed . But talk is talk , hopefully he can back it all up .
