Watching that video and Carroll's definitely not in his plans - and I'm brilliant at all that non-verbal shit.

dutch track record = babel, zendan
italian track record - aqua, dossena

Let's learn from history.

Sign germans and spanish: hamman, riedle, alonso, torres.

If we're learning from history with Liverpool then Scottish would be a much, much better bet. Except they don't have any good players now, which doesn't fit your mad as fuck theory.

Buy good players is the answer, be they Inuit, English, Spanish or Malaysian.

I thought Rodgers sounded positive about Aquilani. He clearly rates him.
But he seems a bit unsure if Aqua wants to play for us.

He didn't even mention Cole.

The question: Are Joe Cole and Aquilani likely to be part of that squad or is it likely that they'll be offloaded?

Answer:
"I had a good chat with Alberto the other day, he's a good guy. It obviously hasn't worked out for him, as of yet, but he's a player with the qualities, in terms of technical and tactical ability, to play," Rodgers said during Monday's press conference.
"What's going to be important is that the players have the steel and the mindset to play - that's something I'll find out from all the players during pre-season."

It's in Aquilani's hands, it seems. If he wants to stay he'll be part of Rodgers plans.

That's Aquilani out of the picture then.
