Think its unfortunate for suso as he's away at the euros, so he can't overly impress Rodgers in the flesh; however i'm sure Brendan has got a good idea of the lad and will be watching him on eurosport when he can

I seem to remember Heighway lauding him as if he was the next big thing and what a mistake it was by Benitez to not give him a chance in the first team.

Yep that's the same Steve Heighway that nurtured and brought through talent like Gerrard,Carragher,McManaman,Fowler and Owen.

That's great but when he was sacked the Academy hadn't produced a top class player for ten years. Except maybe Warnock and Kelly.
Also, the results of Rafa's work will show in the next few years.
