Missed Fulham as i was visiting Santa with the sprig. Sounds like first half LFC did its usual job of making life difficult for second half LFC. Oh and Robbo continued to show he’s a 1 game a week player now.

Rest everyone who’s been playing for this, although I’m not sure who can do half the defensive roles so Virg might have to play

Kelleher

Some youth RB / CB
Gomez
Quansah
Norris (was on bench vs Girona)

Endo
Morton
Elliot

Chiesa
Nunez
Diaz

There are simply too many possibilities but please let’s rest Grav, Macca, Jones, Mo.

I wouldn’t expect Jota to start but be eased in again.

Macca could play. He has been rested for two games now

I think Macca will play so he isn’t rusty for Spurs where he will come in for Jones.

Kelleher

Fuck knows
Quansah
Gomez
Fuck knows

Endo (HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I doubt Slot would even start him here!)
Morton
Macca

Elliott
Nunez
Gakpo

Macca will start and possibly Trent too. It's still a Prem team we're playing away and they should be respected.
I'd go:

Kelleher

Trent
Gomez
Quansah
Norris

Endo
Macca
Elliott

Nunez
Jota
Chiesa

What worry me slightly is the height of our midfield.

Slot would probably play Macca, Jones and Elliott.

We're not going to win the league, so in my view better to win something else over nothing.

Kelleher

Spearing
Quansah
Virgil
Gomez (If Robbo is suspended)

Endo
Nyoni

Chiesa
Mac
Gakpo

Jota

Jesus fucking Christ.

We're not winning the league with that back 4 mate, and we could be back to chasing by the time any of them are back. Our defence right now is basically Virg and Grav, our attack is basically Salah. No one else is performing.

Soon as City and Arsenal get the DM and striker they need, with FSG too busy being the cunts they are and Hughes/Edwards too busy sucking themselves off, we're fucked.

Slot will rotate less than we all want

I'd wager it'll be something like

-------------------Kelleher
Trent---Quansah--VVD--Gomez-
-------------------Endo
----------Jones------Mac Allister
----Elliott-------Nunez-------Jota

Trent is a shit defender, ir's an issue that will never go away. Bradley might not have his vision, but he's a much better all rounder.

Jota should play to get himself fit.

No! He needs to avoid games, he is a injury risk. Play, Danns and Chiesa

I want to see sth like

Kelleher
academyRB Quansah Gomez academyLB
Morton Endo Macca
Elliott Nunez Jota

But it'll probably be closer to @Squiggles team with Virgil, Trent, Jones/Szobo, Gakpo/Diaz and possibly Mo starting

We definitely will rotate less than some people want

Kelleher

Gomez
Quansah
Virgil
?

Endo
Szoboszlai
Mac Allister

Salah
Jota
Gakpo

I could even see a scenario where he plays Endo at LB and Jones as the 6.

Don't risk Jota. Rest key players. Tsimikas if fit can be on the bench. If we go out so be it, I honestly don't care as long as out key players aren't risked.
There is absolutely 0 chance Slot will go with my recommendation because he probably wants to win this shitty cup

--------------------Kev--------------
Mabaya---Quansah--Gomez---Norris

------------Endo---Morton----------

----------------Harvey--------------

Chiesa-------Danns---------Gakpo

No chance in Hell it'll be that team.

People do realise this is a chance to book our place in the SF of a competition which we're favourite to win? The first chance Arne will have of silverware?

You only have to look back at the teams he put out at West Ham and Brighton, the chance of it being weaker than either are slim to none.

I think a lot of us are worried he’ll okay good players in this meaning they continue to play like they’re knackered in the PL, yes.

It would be a tough lesson to learn whilst watching others around us drop points.

Lads… someone get Binomial a cuppa tea and a nice comfy chair - he may have hit his head while he was giving it a wobble.

And yet, your team line up includes 8 changes from the weekend and includes a 17 yo who hasn’t started this season, one of the coaching staff, a couple of fringe players, one returning from injury and an Italian who appears to be made of overcooked gnocchi.

I think the entire site appreciates the levels you go to, to make yourself look idiotic, but you can try being semi-normal every now and then.
