Back to face the foxes, Klopp will have a great idea for targetting their weaknesses. Expecting full strength to get momentum for Chelsea.

----------------Alisson----------------
Trent----Matip----VVD---Tsimikas. depending on Virg's illness state
------------------Fabs------------------- god i hope he is back!
----------Hendo------Keita------------ Thiago if he is back
Salah----------Jota----------Mane

wouldnt be against Bobby starting so that we can get the link between him & Jota going before Sadio heads to AFCON

Lots of maybes across VVD, Fabs & Thiago

VVD, Fabs and sicknote will all play. I’d drop Mané for Firmino. Partly because Mané’s build up play is lacking and as you’ve said, we need Jota and Firm to strike up a partnership.

Do we know if Virg will start? Haven’t seen it there has been a presser yet. Presume that back in training means good for selection?!

He will start. He must’ve been training for 4 or 5 days before the game. He’ll be fitter than 90% of the Leicester squad. Same for fabs.

The Spanish Lucas is back too. I’d expect Hendo, Fabs and Thiago middle 3.

Playing a Leicester team decimated by injuries and only two days rest?
I'm looking forward to a repeat of that 2020 game. Might even be worse than that.

Its been confirmed that Keita, Mane and Salah can play against Chelsea.

We need to give these an absolute hiding. City have decimated our goal difference and we need to get that advantage back. This season could be that close come the end of the campaign.

@Brizzle i expect VVD to start

Thiago Alcantara, Fabinho, Curtis Jones and Virgil van Dijk are set to be available for Liverpool’s clash with Leicester City.
Jürgen Klopp confirmed on Monday that the quartet have returned to training following the end of their isolation periods due to positive COVID-19 tests.
Meanwhile, the boss also reported no new fitness concerns ahead of Tuesday’s trip to King Power Stadium.
“Yeah, the boys who had to isolate, or had COVID, are back,” Klopp said.
“That means Fab, Virgil, Curtis and Thiago. Thiago was the latest, he came back and trained yesterday for the first time with the team.
“We have one young player who is now isolating and two staff. It’s really tricky, every morning when you come in it’s a little bit like a lottery. You hope it’s all fine and then one case… that’s the situation, but apart from that we are fine.”

So based on that info. Thiago will be on the bench.

Front three: Mane, Jota, Salah
Midfield: Keita, Fabs, Henderson
Defence: Tsimikas, Van Dijk, Matip, Trent
Keeper: David James

Don't worry, once city are about twelve points clear they'll start resting players for the champions league, and that will give us the chance to claw back the goal difference over the final few games of the season.

They rested Vardy against City for this game, though. As we discovered the other night, he remains potent.

I’m not so sure. They were chasing the game vs city and he stayed on the bench.
