That ignores the difference between our midfield and front 3 now vs when it worked very well... it's just not at the same level fitness and physicality wise... we had to adjust for that.
Even in last year's successful season, I don't remember us beating the good teams as often or in the manner we used... our team changed, our style hasn't adapted for it.

Exactly. 44 min and he's strolling around in Thiago's position with no cover on our right. TBH I'd be happy if we moved him there and had Gomez/Bradley/Anyone else at RB.
Ridiculous imo. Teams are targeting our right at every opportunity and we are asking our under fire right back to continue running headless into midfield and even further forward positions for no reason and no cover.
If we bought top class midfielders and forwards when on top, Trent would be lording it up right now. A side effect would be we'd also have the midfielders that we need.
That's crazy talk. Buy from a position of weakness and desperation is the way to do it.
You have to ask why Klopp is doing this - because obviously it's under instruction - Trent is under the gun and every goal we concede just heaps more pressure on him. I was dead against moving him into the centre but he can clearly he knows how to find players making runs and as it stands we may do better with a more conventional RB allowing us to play without that huge space behind Trent which is there now.
