I don’t get the pessimism. Yes, we should have had a bunch. Some poor finishing, but not awful. Mané had a good shot just wide, but not a crap shot. Messlier is playing really well.

On the other hand, this is probably the best midfield performance of the year. Some of the front 3 passes are just off at the critical moment (like just behind Mané), but they have connected many more than recently. They seem in sync, even if not always working.

And, the goal: pure sex.

Their one really good chance came from a ridiculous no foul call but Atwater (and the linesmen), who has really given a disservice, both ways, to a great game. Seems like they forgot what a fast football game is like and the stupid guidance to let the game flow has done nothing but confuse referees.
