The issue is, when he does, or pulls out wide, there is no one in the box, or running beyond.

Jones did that against Leverkusen. Szobo did it against Spurs. No one has done that today.

So I'd say we've been pretty effective creating chances as a team.

So then it becomes a tactics issue, or an issue wit hthe false 9 role as its being played today. The most straightforward solution is to play a straightforward 9 in that position, or hope szob picks up on the cues.

Chance creation has been middling today. We've created a few, but only 1 real clear cut chance that fell to gakpo.

I still think having a 9 opens space for szob and macca to exploit, meaning more creativity
