I'm encouraged by Klopp's talk in the press.
Team 'meeting', sounds like he gave them a proper talking too.
Hopefully they take it in the right way.
The come back starts today.
It’s more the players close proximity to me as I cleanse them of this jinxy situation.
Even Jurgen feels it - he can have Big Stevie hugs if he wants!!!!
The lads will be inspired by your impressive sausage guzzling display at the breakfast buffet as well.
I'd play Milner again. He knows he's done as a player, can be Klopp's mouth piece on the pitch. The midfield will start playing out of their skin now that they know De Jong is coming in

Blast Henderson, VVD and TAA on the regular.
Milner wasn't the worst player on the pitch, not by a long shot. He struggled with the pace of the game, sure, but he was consistently the only one making runs in the box (weirdly), as well as trying to tackle players. You'd sacrifice a midfielder for a megaphone ? Milners tough guy act was cringey enough against Man U I really hope not to see a repeat of the worst player on the pitch lecturing everybody else on their responsibilities.
If Milner starts again, we will lose. He's absolutely terrible these daysMilner wasn't the worst player on the pitch, not by a long shot. He struggled with the pace of the game, sure, but he was consistently the only one making runs in the box (weirdly), as well as trying to tackle players.
Henderson, van dijk, and trent were much much worse

It'll be standard 433, firmino lingering at the centre circle4-2-3-1 I think
4-2-3-1 I think
Klopp came from a double-pivot system at Dortmund, so it's not like he's wedded to a 4-3-3 philosophically. It's just the formation he chose for the squad based on the players we had at the time - Henderson, Can, Allen, Milner. And he just decided to build on that instead of changing the whole makeup. Why do people think it's a double pivot? Klopp never changes his setup until we're chasing a game

There were times when Shaqiri was here that he tried a 4-2-3-1. He's going to it now because we literally don't have the personnel to field a 3-man midfield.

If it is 4231 it will be frim in the 10 with mo up top and Elliot on rightBut we do have the personnel to field a 3 man midfield, because we are fielding one. If i'm wrong, fair enough, but i can imagine klopp just shifting elliott or hendo to the left, rather than it being a pivot. If Carvalho was there instead of elliott, i might have agreed.
