Just back from diving. Maybe should do that every week. Was it 4-3-3?

I think technically it was, although Elliott barely played as a midfielder – there was a clear front 4 of Elliott, Salah, Firmino and Diaz with no fixed focal point (as usual with Firmino). Hendo looked a bit uncomfortable at LCM, some of his typical turns resulted in him turning into trouble, but against Bournemouth these problems were not magnified.

Elliott was playing a Coutinho role. Nominally on the right and did nice work there with Salah and Trent, but also popped up left and center and really helped Bobby be Bobby.

Carvalho played same role in the 2nd half.

We were playing, moving and attacking in triangles.

I've not seen us play like this for a long time and it was really refreshing to see this basic tactic brought back.

It's beginning to make sense why we bought nimble, quick on the turn, tenacious, scampering little forwards like Diaz, Harvs and Fabio. They are great in playing quick interchanging triangular passes. Another new weaponry added to our arsenal.

Just took a short video of @StevieM and his mates walking into his hotel room to log onto SCM for the mother of all "I told you" so post

The plan is now clear: Mark has to start the threads, @tombrown go diving and @Modo sleep through the first half and we’ll be fine!

And while everyone was talking about changing the line up and benching Firmino. I'm the one who said go with the tried and trusted.

You may fly me to Liverpool again if I am needed… otherwise…

This is the way….

Now…. Do I go and smash some tasty chicken wings or just chill at the hotel!!!!

How many Naga wings can you handle in one sitting?

No idea.

I play around with chilli sauce made from Carolina Reaper chillies - but my insides can’t take the heat. - so I tend to downgrade to something mild like Franks Hot sauce and practically drink the stuff.

Anyway… wings another time…. I am emotionally and physically drained from single-handedly turning our season round and have decided to smash a bottle Argentinian Riesling at the hotel instead.

Its’s fucking delightful.

If you are ever in E. London with mates, check out some of the Chicken and Chip shops, the foods is very good and its so kind to your wallet. For £25 I had biryani, dhaal, naga wings, doner kebab and a gourmet burger with 2 drinks and water.
The one I went to is Stroudley Grill in Bow.... not too far from the London Stadium. Near Stepney Green Station there is a few. The good ones will always be busy
This is the menu with the prices
