Poor Degen...
It's like everyone's off to college but he didn't get in anywhere. Like I said before....Tesco.

I wonder if Poulsen's new team can get off to a good start at their stadium. My prediction is (h)2-o

I honestly never thought we'd shift this lot. I'm made up they're all pissing off.
Poulsen is thee worst of the lot though.

I actually feel a little sorry for Evian, he'll do nothing for them but suck up the wages from a small club

fuck you juventus and hodgson you donkey, you actually paid for him

I think this window goes to show how much a change this club actually needed...well done commoli you deserve a round of applause sir.

These puns represent a new l'eau for this site.

The best one yet.

Good luck in France Christian.

The highlight of your Liverpool career was playing the pass that eventually got Andy Gray sacked.

Ha ha that's boss.

Those naive bastards probably don't realise what a crock of shit they are signing. Then again Evian is spelt Naive backwards.

Oh btw, is it okay to write 'spelt' or should you always write 'spelled'. Come on grammar nazi's, let's be having you.

Fuck knows, but it's not alright to regurgitate the same naive/evian joke that was first rolled out 3 pages back Dave.

Anyway, can we lock this thread now this sorry cunt has gone? Hopefully we'll forget he ever existed.

Officially gone.

Good.

Another unwelcome reminder of Hodgson out the door.

it's strange how a player can lose form so much to the point where they are absolute shite ...because there was a time when poulsen was decent enough (at schalke and sevilla) but he hasn't done anything for yrs now and i'm not sure why . And i'm sorry but you'd have to question why he wasn't pushing for a move away all window , he doesn't seem to be to motivated at all to get back captaining Denmark .

Anyway sorry , yeah he's pissed off (for a bit) and that's what counts .

''It's official, Patrick Trotignon, the president of the SASP and Pascal Dupraz, the sports director, presented their latest recruit on Wednesday afternoon at the training centre,'' said a statement on the French club's website. ''Christian Poulsen was hired for a season from Liverpool.''

Guess he signed on a free transfer.

To be fair hasn't it been since the Denmark manager dropped him from the squad that he has seemed more interested in going?

Thought so but offal says 'transfer' and wished him all the best.

So it does. LfcHistory lists it as an undisclosed fee too and says he has signed a one year contract.

well he has been told for months that he was going to be dropped so he must have expected it . Of course it could just be what Denmark wanted , an 'easy' excuse to drop a captain who has been shite for them also .

And yeah , i thought it was a loan too but he's nowhere to be seen on the official site's squad list and has been moved into the 'past players' section . Good stuff , i hate when a player goes on loan, you forget about them until you see them running around in pre-season photos a year later .

Midfielder Christian Poulsen is considering his future after being offered a two-year contract to extend his stay at Evian.

The Dane joined the club from Liverpool, where he spent an unhappy year, making only 12 appearances after a £4.5million move from Juventus.

The 32-year-old is now considering whether to extend his stay at the French side after they offered him the new deal, although FC Copenhagen are believed to be waiting in the wings in a bid to take the player back to his homeland.

"We want to keep Christian Poulsen," said Evian sports director Pascal Dupraz to Tipsbladet.dk. "We have agreed an appointment with him, as far as I understand Christian will either stay with us or return to Denmark."

Poulsen has made 20 appearances for Evian this season as the club sit ninth in the Ligue 1 table.
