Its also ridiculous given the fact that he's calling Salah out - when he could do the same thing on Kane. But Kane is white and English,

I think, to be fair, he wrote the article on Sunday - after our match, but before Spurs.

That said, your point is valid, if the matches had been the other way round, I very much doubt he have rounded on Kane,

Has anyone seen the latest article from that odious moron, Garth Crooks? He suggest that Henderson should have a private word with Salah about diving, then later in the same article, talks about Wilson's craftiness to draw a penalty against Everton.

It's a proper witch hunt from the English football media. It's never an issue when an English player does it, but there's uproar when it comes from one of those dirty foreigners.

Garth Crooks is a repugnant toad, who clearly has some dirt on the top brass at the BBC. How he remains vaguely relevant in the game is beyond me. I've never seen anyone say a kind word about him. The fact my licence fee lines his pockets irks me no end. His only redeeming feature is the honesty in his surname.

I find it curious that none of the Nobby Stiles obituaries employ the words "dirty," "little" or "bastard."

and

Well, there are enough clips from 1966 that show him going straight through opponents. The idea he represents some Corinthian ideal of how to play the game is ridiculous.

Yes, sorry, wasn't trying to make him out to be any sort of saint. I screamed much abuse at him back in the 60s.

Or Franny Lee, by all accounts... Didn't Nobby play in the same era as Franny?
Yes Franny Lee was also active in the 1960's. I believe he has the distinction of being the inventor of diving. He used to head in a direct line for goal and as soon as he felt any kind of contact he was down.
