Doc Rule's Post game thoughts:

1. Maxi is fucking shit and to play him ahead of Reira is suicidal.

2. Aquilani should start ahead of Lucas 'who is fucking brilliant'(That's just for you Ryan boy)

3. Gerrard needs to get his head right and play it simple. He's over doing it sometimes and yesterday he's not any better than Lucas.

Had Rafa deployed Gerrard at right midfield we would get more width and Kuyt with Babel don't need to run around like fucking headless chicken in midfield.

Having said that, Citeh defended well and Kompany is a top quality defender.

Another TWO cringe worthy dives from Gerrard yesterday. Also, his moaning and complaining to the ref when he is touched is becoming pathetic. He will never shake off his 'Starfish' tag now.

C'mon Stevie, stay on your fucking feet mate.

Speaking of which..... why the fuck didn't Yossi go down?

My post game thoughts:

I'm finding it harder and harder to give a fuck. That's wrong, yes, but I'll just have to live with that for now. Its as agonising as pulling teeth, just watching or listening to one of our games at the moment - I just wish Alan Green would shut the fuck up. We know its dire Alan, you don't have to remind us every 30 seconds of your commentary. Oh and Robbie Savage telling me what's a foul and what's a dive? Do me a favour. 5Live is sinking lower and lower with people like him doing "punditry".

I'm considering a "Rip Van Winkle" like 3 month sleep until the end of May.

Oh and am I being overly sensitive? Is posting a picture of dead soldier from the Somme or whatever battlefield it is and comparing it to Wigan's pitch now humour? I've found that a little disconcerting. Or perhaps it should just be in Paddy's bad taste thread?

Post game thoughts:

I'm glad I didn't pay to watch that live.

It won't take long to forget that game.

Neither us, Citeh, Villa or Spurs are deserving of a place in the Champions League, although our run-in may just be benign enough for us to limp over the line.

Torres, Benayoun and Johnson's return will lift us to mediocre from poor.

I'm drooling at the prospect of our next game where we can exhibit our sublime skills.

Every time we have finished with a clean sheet lately, Insua has come in for criticism in the Football Forum. :🙂

I actually shouldn't penalty when the challenge when in and then SOMEHOW yossi regained his feet. grrrr!

People will happily give Insua a 3 or 4 when the team keeps a clean sheet, utter bollocks.
I think Rafa has tightened the back up over the past couple of months, just we cant seem to create much. Im confident that will soon change seeing as we have one of the worlds best forwards coming back, as well as Benayoun who is one of our main creators.

My post-game thoughts are exactly my pre-game thoughts.

Rafa went for the nil nil draw, he got it.
Our manager is happy with mediocrity.

One point away at Citeh is NOT the end of the world.

And to be fair Citehs approach - albeit beeing at home - seemed even less adventurous than ours. They seemed very content with a scoreless draw to me.

Reina made one save and that was on a Adebayor shot that never should've been as he handled the ball in the first place.

He didn't go there to draw Le Chacal. We went there to win.

Ha ha I love your posts. They never fail to impress in their 'bollockness' Do you think Rafa issued instructions to shoot wide if they find themselves one on one with the keeper thus to preserve our nil?

Basically same awful team as at Arsenal.
That will be very tough.
Rafa going for the draw often ends with a 1 nil defeat

With Kuyt alone up front. Lucas in the middle. Insua at LB
He went for the draw. Cautious tactics. Crap match.
Thanks Rafa.

He went for the draw at Arsenal, it didnt work.
It worked yesterday because they were as cautious as us.

Indeed. Moderators can't be expected to keep track of every post in every thread. That's why a 'report to moderator' button is included, so that members can notify them if they feel aggrieved.

How about people just stick to talking football in a football forum and we have no need to report anyone of anything. Also whether I report it to Moderator or not, its still grossly offensive and the post should be deleted.
